Default No compression on #1 on Disco 2?

A buddy of mine has a 2000 Disco 2, and it has a miss. He pulled all 8 plugs for a compression test and cylinder #1 was at ZERO. All others were between 145-150. No coolant issues / smoke, etc....any thoughts? Thanks -

Maybe a blown head gasket or a stuck or burnt valve.

sounds like you need a rebuild......

pull the heads and take them in....have the shop look for a bent valve....if they are good...have them cleaned up and a valve job done and have the heads decked!!!

change the gaskets and get her running again
