Note when installing 2004 CDL: AC Drain hose pass side
Note to self: When you install 2004 CDL linkage in a Disco, watch the cable routing of the shifter cables on the passenger side.
In my case, one of the cables was perfectly clamping off/squishing the passenger side AC drain hose.
Hasn't rained in Portland for awhile... and found typical soaking wet under my passenger side rubber mat today while cleaning the car. Quickly found that when I'd installed CDL linkage a few mos back, the cable routing wasn't quite right and it was pinching my drain tube on the pass side. Here's a pic looking up from the ground to the rubber passenger drain tube.
A river of water came pouring out. All over my face even though I was expecting it and have cleared the drains before and tried to get out of the way.
Easy fix. Now just need to pull the seat and carpet since it's super soaked under there all along the passenger side ...
