Default And now she won't start...

Went back out after the following saga...mad she won't start.
https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...w-truck-57437/
Figured i would see if the exhaust where the manifold comes out and meets the down pipe was able to be snugged up. Sure enough, the 3 bolts were loose on the side that was leaking bad, so snugged them up a bit, and the other side too. Go to turn her over and she won't start at all, and what appears to be exhaust was coming out the air filter. Any clues now?
Not my area of expertise, and the rave isn't really helping me out. Is it possible that one side is plugged up and forcing the exhaust back into the intake? Something bigger like the valves are fubar'd? So odd it just happened like flipping a switch.
Before I go and take the exhaust off at the header I'd love some ideas, as I'm sure I'm going to run into issues trying to get all the bolts out.
Additional info, one cat is rounded where one is thinner and taller, so maybe one has been replaced in the past? Still, no codes prior, and was able to throw a code with the seafoam.

sounds like something is in your exhaust system (sabotage?)??

Finding path of least resistance, through loose flange connection, now that's tight, it's locked up???

Just reaching here...

Someone messed with your truck when you were skiing.
Who has the other key fob and where were they?
Check the rear exhaust pipe for garbage stuffed up into it.
Use a coat hanger.

Or else your timing is really buggered up.

Who has the other key fob?

No other key fob. And where the truck was parked I could hardly see someone being able to mess with it. I was parked right in front of the resort with the tailpipe facing the parking lot...plenty of people in and out, plus cameras I'm sure. Trust me... the first thing I thought of was something stuck up there, but more so as I backed up into a snow bank... but then thought unlikely snow in the tailpipe would stop a Disco. The truck was covered in salt...no fingerprints or handmarks on the bumper, the fuel door, etc. Triple checked. Also, the exhaust was flowing when I first started it and heard the noise, and also flowing when I did the seafoam.
Man...this is a head scratcher. If the timing was all messed up... wouldn't codes be throwing?

Yeah, if timing was off you would have mad codes.

Land Rover designed the cats the way you described. Not saying they haven't been replaced but from the factory one is round and one is oblong and placed right up close to keep our props shafts nice and hot

Check your air filter / air intake for obstructions.

I'm wondering about jumped Valve Timing. One tooth, would still run, but maybe less vacuum due to valves open/close at wrong point of stroke?

If it's blowing air back through the intake and still running, you've got problems with one or more cylinders, but not all of them.

Probably a stuck valve.

I had a Honda Civic that blew back through intake, but still ran, and it was a single jumped tooth. Idle was not too bad, but when you gave it gas, it would pop and blow back.

Salt is conductive big time.
IF you got salt all over the engine - coil wires..

I would put engine cleaner on the engine.
Then spray it all down if it is covered in Salt.

I mean.

If I soaked my engine in water.
Then got a hand full of salt - lots of it.
And threw that salt all over my engine-
the water and the salt would cause trouble.

How many miles on this rover?
