Default O2 Sensor Faults P0155 & P0135

2002 Disco II 109,000 miles...

The continuing saga:

OK I changed all 4 O2 sensors and was having trouble with 1 of them being recognized but I think I got worked out...

So now I finally got my hub on so I got to drive my truck for about 10 miles at highway speeds and on country roads. When I got back the check engine light did not come on but I scanned the engine and I got codes P0155 and PO135. I am taking it to a Landrover dealer tomorrow to clear an ABS code but I wanted to get some insight on what may cause this. The plugs and ignition wires (magnecores) are new.

Any ideas what may be causing these codes? I'm back in school so a little broke these days but if a trip to the dealer will fix this I will pay them I just wanted to get some ideas of what can cause these codes. Once again thanks for the help.

Those are O2 sensor codes, if the light is off all you can do is drive it and wait and see if the CEL comes back.
Did you clear the codes are did the light go out on its own?

I saw they were O2 codes but was wondering what could cause them.

I did not clear them yet (I did clear out the P0154 this morning though so there were no codes) but the service engine soon light has not turned on yet I figure it will soon. I was going to drive it tomorrow to the dealership and see what they say.

You people need to realize, clearing a code does nothing, you still have the same problem, so deal with the codes then get them cleared, otherwise you are just wasting your time.

As for going to a dealer to clear ABS codes, it won't happen, they will give you a large estimate based on their grocery list and, charge you $100 plus and not turn off the ligts.

I know clearing them does not fix the problem. I fixed my hub which caused my 3 amigos so I need a LR dealer to clear the code. I talked to them and they said they will scan the engine and clear the ABS code for $60.

As far as my O2 sensor codes, when I installed them I cut the cable on the front driver side so I had some codes that I needed to clear. Now that is done I have the codes above to worry about.

My question was what can cause the 0155 and 0135 codes. I have new ignition wires installed. Could this be a bad cat? Just wanted some ideas before I took it get a diagnosis from the bandits. As far as giving me a grocery list that's fine and good to have and I will bring it here to sort it out, what needs to be done and what is bull.

135 is caused when the heater circuit on bank 1 sensor 1 fails, the 155 is caused when the heater circuit on bank 2 sensor one has failed.

Hmm.. are those both front or is it both front and back? Anything in particular that causes that? Just trying to trouble shoot this weekend as I have an appointment to go into a LR dealer on monday.
