Ok so I got my ELM 327 scanner and I couldn't get a program that worked on my laptop so I bought an android phone, downloaded the $5 version of torque and it works great! I'm still working out some fine tuning on it but the ELM scanner works great and I'm happy with it. I'm hoping to collect more stats on the vehicle off road and during different driving conditions to see what's going on with the car. Fun stuff just to see all the info

Also with 31" tires my best 0-60 time is 14.4 seconds. Meh. I didn't want to push the motor past 4.5k rpm

Mine came in the mail yesterday as well. Works a treat with the Torque App. It's nice to be able to see sensor data to troubleshoot vs just going off the code the engine throws.

Waiting on my second one as the first one was DOA. The seller is sending me a replacement for free and I'm returning the first one to Amazon so I'm getting it for free essentially. Hopefully this one works.

If you jailbreak it (does not void warranty) and install the roqyBT4 and roqyOBD apps it will. Then you need to install an app like dashcommand.

Damn. Just trying to get it to connect to the demo version of Movi. Just no luck, did everything their support pages recommend. At lest with a mac it seems pretty close to useless. I can see it as a bluetooth device but nothing else.
I was thinking of getting "dashcommand", but fortunately noticed it just works with wifi versions, NOT bluetooth, so that's out.

Well I wish you the best of luck with getting one running, it is very useful!

My ELM327 is still working like a champ and I have an alarm set on my phone for when I'm offroading to sound off if it begins to overheat. Freaking golden.

I may break down and get the $42 wi-fi one, or cheap out with a wired usb version. Just don't like throwing good money after bad.
Too bad I can't get anything out of the bluetooth one, it seemed so perfect. I'll try again later, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

My second one finally arrived and it works great with my iphone and dashcommand via bluetooth. Worth the $15 + $6 for the RoqyBT licence.

The first one died within minutes. I emailed the seller and he sent the second one directly and free of charge.

How did you get dashcommand for 15? $49.95 at the app store. And although I can find Roqy on the web, the only thing at the app store is something strange in arabic.
What am I missing here?
