OBDII Plug-In causes 3 Amigos
I recently bought a 2003 Disco II in pretty good shape - Had it professionally inspected/tested at LR with no issues found. Have put 80 miles on it since purchase with not a peep either. I just purchased a ScannerGuage 2 so that I could view my temps in real-time, but after plugging the device into my OBDII port and starting up the truck, the 3 Amigos appeared (ABS, Traction, Hill decent lights). Unplugging the scanner and a doing an engine start up/stop seems to get rid of the amigos.
I was really looking forward to using the ScannerGuage but am worried to plug it back in again after this happening - Has anyone had this experience with other OBDII scanners or this scanner in particular? Any solutions?
Thanks!

This is strange , usually 3 amigos related to one of the abs sensors .. sometimes one of the sensors fail as a whole or the sensor plug (The female connector).
U can know its a sensor if the 3 amigos turn on and off from time to time .
If they stay on dash the whole time and u checked the sensors or changed them then the next thing is to look into is the abs unit.
i am using obd2 since 2 years . Never happened ..
If its related somehow with ur obd2 then it will be really strange !
