Default OBDII reading question.??

I got a couple of readings.
Two about #3 and #5 misfiring
One about damage to the catalayic
one about the left bank too lean

I am thinking they all have to do with the #3 and #5 misfiring.
I replaced all 4 O2 sensors about 8 months ago.
I am thinking to start with the plugs and wires??
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

ok so I took out both plugs #3,#5 and they were really sooty... could this be a clogged fuel injector or a bad plug? Here is what they look like..

Don't do anything yet.
What year and mileage are we talking about, what octane gas are you reading and what are the exact fault code numbers?

2002 with 117 miles..
The codes are PO171 and PO130. octane.. 87.. (wifes car!)
The misfire codes are no longer there.. I went to the auto store to buy plugs and reset the CEL.. but when it came back on, those were the only ones that the scanner read..

so I checked the plugs, all on the left side are sooty and all on the right side are looking normal.. I checked the O2 sensors also and both on the left are sooty as well and the right are ok. any idea why only the left side is sooty.. could the O2 sensors on the left side be faulty already after only about 10,000 miles?

First things first, switch to the highest octane gas you can next fill up. You should always run at least 91, or if it's available 93.

Could be a few different things... How long since the plugs and wires were replaced, and what kind were used?

Ive never switched the plugs until today. We have had it for about 2.5 years. The plugs definately needed to be changed. They all had divits in the electrode. Im gonna run it tonight and see how she performs. I have cleared the codes so well see if that was it or if my O2 sensors are shot for some reason..

You could swap your O2's from side to side and see what happens.
Def make you wife use premium gas, if she wont use it then take the truk away, you are loosing MPG buy running regular gas.
