Odometer Light

My light behind the odometer just went out and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. I replaced the light behind the clock and was wondering if it is similar. Thanks

RE: Odometer Light

You need to remove the instument cluster. Lower your tilt steering wheel as low as it goes and you will find two small screws, then the cowling will come off. Then you can replace the bulb.

Ok, I was able to get the bulb out but I can't find a replacement anywhere. It says toshiba V-2 on the back but it doesn't help. Does anyone have any idea where to find the replacement bulbs that goes behind the odometer?

Have you gone toRadio Shack? Otherwise the dealer.
The brand of bulb makes no difference, just make sure that you get the correct wattage.

Have a look at this link. It covers replacement for most all instrument related bulbs. It is light on how to access the odometer backlight & main cluster but it provides, photos, bulb part numbers & descriptions for each bulb. Brilliant!
