Default OEM Wheel Paint

Does anyone know where to get spray paint in the OEM paint for wheels?
Specifically for 2000 Discovery wheels?

Paint? Oem wheels for a 2000 disco are alloy. No paint.

If yours are painted, it was done by the previous owner. In that case, any paint will do.

Just because they are alloy doesn't mean they aren't painted.

Not colored paint, but they should have a clearcoat on them to protect and shine. If you are looking to refinish them you might just be able to sandblast and respray, but I'm not 100% on it as I do not know the specifics of these wheels. I do know that you don't want to just rattle-can your wheels though. They will be pitted and chewed up in no time. You will need tougher wheel paint for the job. Many wheels shops will do it for you and do it right. If no repairs are needed and just a refinish, might be around $50 per wheel.

I don't really know if they were originally painted or if they are alloy. I know they are painted now. Here is a pic to show the wheels. I'll post a closer pic tommorow. They are 18".Thanks for the responses.

Stock wheels on there. When you get a close up of the areas that look bad it will be easy to tell what is going on with them.

those I believe were called proline 18 inch wheel, they look like a hurricane wheel only the spoke are not cut out and they are paint before cleared.
its kind of a standard wheels color I think it is called "argent" or something like that.
try going to eastwoods website you should see it on there to get the name, but it can be had locally.

I do think they were originally painted from the factory. I also think they have been painted since but not too well. LOL

I'm going to sand, paint, clear coat and post pics on this thread.

I don't think the color would be the Argent that other wheel manufacturers use to describe their wheels (like AEV jeep wheels). That Argent is more of a shiny battleship grey and not silver at all.

I've never seen a disco wheel that wasn't painted. Most are some sort of sparkly silver. I think they even call it silver sparkle.
