I ordered two kits of the Eastwood Silver Sparkle . I'll post results back on this thread.

Would be good to know. My OEM 18" Hurricane wheels do not appear to have any "paint" on them, just the clear. The clear is going away in spots and does not really seem to be paint under. Would be interesting.

Anybody ever powdercoated them black? I would like to do this and get away from the silver but am leery about $$

Here's a pic after the clearcoat. The flash brings a little more of the sparkle out than it really is and the picture doesnt show how great the clearcoat looks. This is my spare so I did it first to see how things turned out.

I would say that the Eastwood Wheel paint base/coat clearcoat in Silver Sparkle is a 100% match to OEM. It was getting dark but the center cap looked like it would match exactly. I did not paint the center cap as it was in excellent shape.

It looks great. I wonder if they have anything for my Acura. Those wheels need paint more than my Disco Wheels do.
