Default Off road tires for 18 rim

I've got a 2004 Disco with 18 inch rims and trying to figure out what my best options are at this point. Just moved from TN to Montana and I've taken a job that has me driving all over 4 counties to various locations including ranches and to properties located in the mountains. I planned on getting something to hit the trails with next year anyway but I'm going to need something that can handle all types of snow and mud. I've did the OME 2 inch HD kit last year if that helps add some choices.

pretty much have to go down to an 16" rim to be cost effective.
I run bfg on 18 going to a 16" and treadwrights next time. I hear good things of them. 32" tire fits nicely with 2" lift

Just put a 2in TF on my 99. I am going with the BF Goodrich all terrain in 265 65 18, they run well in the snow and mud here. The BFG mud terrains do not get that small and are better in mud but not as good in the snow and rain. You can fit the 265 75 18 on there, but it is close.

Found these also on tire rack in 265/65/18 but was not familiar with the Dick Cepek brand. About $100 cheaper than the BFGs.

Treadwrights on 16's or order the tire through the company that installs them so you don't pay shipping and the mounting cost.

On my 2000 Disco II I have Nitto Terra Grapplers, 275/16-18 with a 2" lift. Looks great, works great. Changes your speedo so you need to add about 5 mph at 50+ (so 50 mph is 55 mph), adds an additional 1 1/2" of overall height. Slight inner fender rub at hardest turn left or right. Very good in mud. Used to have 255/55-18 (stock size in these). They were great in mud, snow, wet. Quiet at highway speeds. Got 55K miles out of them. Got them at Discount Tire.

Nitto grapplers would be a good choice.

I have 275/65/18s Goodyear Duratracs. They are $$$ but I love them. They handle everything quite well. Used them quite a bit in the snow last year and I was surprised at how well they handled. Those would be my recommendation.

I run these on the Mitsubishi Pajero for highway, tracks and offroad and they perform well. I'm not sure whether they have them your side of the pond though. Worth a look and not too extreme or noisy on the highways.

Runway Enduro AT 31x10.5/R15 Runway Enduro 31x10.5/15 AT

I normally pay $85 each fitted and balanced.

OMG the shipping cost for tires up here. $190-240 for shipping. Still getting used to living up here but in Nashville Tire Rack shipping used to be in the $50-60 range. I'm going to go to a local off road shop they got here to see what they offer and a couple of other tire shops. I've really got to get something that is going to work well in mud and different types of snow because I went up into a mountain region with snow/ice covered roads the other day and the Disco wasn't really having a hard time but I knew not to push it with my current tires.

255/70R18 is the same dia as 275/65R18 (32")

I have Hankook DynaPro ATM in 255/70R18. They were a lot cheaper than the 275s. I got them from discount tire direct.
