Default Oh God... Write up?

So I have this customer with a 2004 D2... I have been fighting low oil pressure and ticking for a while now. When he first brought it to me it was making a CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG. I had to put headgaskets on the car for a coolant leak anyway, so for a 100$ i threw a set of lifters in it. Noise is noticeably better, then it was like ting ting ting ting. So I put Rotella and the monster filter in it. oil pressure went up from 9 hot to 19 hot. Still when he is hard on it (like ripping down the parkway 80 MPH) the tick comes back (now its tick tick tick) for a min or so untill the oil cools off.
So I put an oil cooler in it. (had a new cooler for a 2002 laying around, bought hoses)
STILL TICK TICK TICK TICK. I told him to live with it, its got 120k on it. BUT he wants the engine totally quiet, so next week I'm tearing the bottom end apart and replacing the main bearings, connecting rod bearings, oil pump gears, and going to go with a 180* thermostat.

You guys want me to document it? like before and after oil pressure? noises? youtube vids? all that? would anyone like to see that?

I would just live with the noise, but then again I would not be driving it that hard.
I think pics and such would be nice, maybe a how to on replacing the rod bearings and such.
Torque specs too.

I thought new lifters will wear out your used camshaft quickly if not replaced along with the lifters?

80 mph down the Parkway? He must love filling the tank every two days, I don't even want to know what his gas bill is going to be this summer.
