Default Oh man..

Looks like one of my airbags (suspension) has sprung a leak. Almost considering going to springs.. I would love to find a new airbag though at a good cost. You never realize how expensive parts and shipping parts is in Canada, sheesh.

For the price, I'd try a set from here:

Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

It looks like they are between $185 and $200 a pair (55-59 gbp each) with the current exchange rate.

They usually ship for VERY reasonable prices, compared to others. Sometimes it takes you asking twice to actually get a shipping quote though.

Have the parts sent to a USA friend if you are near a border and have a friend down there.
Make a trip of it and get the air bags.

You might try eBay.ca too.

If you stay in the USA for a few days, you can declare a few $200 or so for airbags when you cross back to the big maple.

I have had such bad luck with these bags and then to add to it I am still looking for a fender. I really wanted to turn this into my "off road" rig for when I go camping and fishing and etc. but the airbags have left me stranded about a dozen times. I am actually scared of spending more money, but I know if this thing was more reliable I would be ok.

Coil conversion is highly recommended. Unless you frequently tow, you're far better off for your money to get some springs.

I am definitely thinking of the conversion. Just looking online right now to pick something up ASAP. I even see used ones at a great price.
