oil problem

Hi
here I have a land rover discovery 2 TD5 2002,
my problem is that the oil mixes with the water,
and I'm afraid that is a serious problem
need to know more about the problem, and how do to repair
thank you
cordially

Could be as simple as a bad front timing cover gasket or as bad as HG’s to a cracked block.

You have diesel engine so most likely head gaskets and yes that is a serious problem. The repair is to replace the head gaskets.

But you did not tell us how you know there is water in the oil

Is it this issue : https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...ing-Light-quot

Or is your oil kinda of milky white ?

TD5 = missed that, but yep HG’s.

thank you for
, sorry guys, apparently I did not express well,
first this diesel engine,
and the problem that the oil that has entered in the water system (I noticed that the water bottle is filled with oil), I found on the internet that there may be a problem in the oil cooler
thanks again

Yes, if you have oil in your coolant...check oil cooler. Oil in the anti-freeze is a totally different problem than coolant in the oil.
