OK, I've read post after post...I can't find the sunroof drains for anything!
That is a possability. I rember seeing a TSB on an A Pillar leak. On the outside remove the passenger corner trim piece and A pillar cover. test for a leak on the top corner of the wind screen. Fix useing sealent.
I started a new thread...found problem and solution are here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=30632
I've got both sunroofs out of my 2001 D2 at the moment .
Each sunroof has 2 drain tubes attached - one in each front corner .
I know they can be difficult to see with everything in place - if it helps I will try to upload a pic or two of the dismantled roofs .
When I removed the roofs I found that the original seal fitted between the sunroof frame and vehicle body was paper thin and obviously not providing much of a seal .
I plan to put a good bead of sealer around the edge of each roof and then drop them into place . I reckon this is where the water was getting in .
Some have succeeded by putting a bead of silicone or similar around the where the sunrrof frame contacts the vehicle roof .
But I wanted to check that the drains were in place - and the box the drains are attached to can leak due to failure of the seal over time .

I want to give you an alternative to give you some more time.
I bought my 98 DI is January and I live in the rain forest.
My truck had been kept in an underground garage and only driven on sunny days.
You guess it, the rear sun roof leaked after I bought it.
For me, it’s a day’s trip to have it fixed and I have other more pressing issues with the truck.
I sealed the sun roof with strips of black electrical tape, no one sees it, and I can work on the problem later. On my Cherokees, this solution has lasted more than a year, it does not hurt the paint, removes very easily, cheap, and looks ok (no one can see the top of a Disco roof).
I was concerned with the comment that a roof had been leaking for 2 years and the head liner is getting damaged.
Stabilize the problem to prevent damage and fix it when you can do it properly.

I don't know if it helps but my LR3 gets a drip from the down windshield pillar and there is a drain running down the pillar... But could be tricky ,LR3 has airbag there and may not be diy I don't know if Disco is the same
If your sunroof is leaking in the rain while the sunroof is closed your issue is the big rubber seal that seats under the glass. The drain tubes in the sunroof tray assembly are only meant to drain away water that drips off the glass as you open the roof. This is why they aren't very robust; they aren't meant to take the load of draining all the rainwater you might get on the truck over it's lifetime.
Try replacing the window gasket first (Part # EEQ500010). It's really easy to do, and requires no tools to replace. Just pull the old gasket, clean out all the gunk and press the new seal in.
Or, as others have suggested, your issue may actually be the mounting point for your roof rail.

My 2004 D2 has leaked since the day I got it from my father in law (even after he'd had the sunroof seals replaced and drains cleared). After a heavy rain, water was coming out from the seat belt slots in the B pillar the first couple times I braked. Took it to the dealer in Charlotte and they dropped the headliner and had the thing for almost a month putting on sealant, letting it cure, testing it, putting on more sealant, etc. They finally thought they had it so I brought the car home (2.5 hr drive...) and next rain it leaked again same place AND it was now also coming out above the windshield right over the rear view mirror and a little bit around the passenger side sun visor area. It seems to be less of an issue if I park it nose downhill. Maybe that means the drains at the front of the sunroofs are working & just getting overwhelmed with the amount of water collecting with it parked nose uphill? And I'm wondering if the sunroof seals were worn/damaged and the Charlotte dealer didn't see it before he started using sealant... I'll have to look at the work statement again and see exactly what they did/didn't do before I try my hand at it. It's becoming quite a competition between this D2 and my 2005 Saab 9-3--which one will be more expensive to keep running!
