Default Ome hd vs ome ehd

I ran across the Extra Heavy Duty OME Springs. They supposed to lift 3" But my question is, how bad will it ride without the 440lbs rating.

do you plan on putting a winch bumper on it? do you carry a lot of cargo? if not then your teeth will rattle out of your skull.

does that answer your question?

This does help. I do plan on a winch eventually, but at tge moment it will be pretty light.

Will the ride really be that bad?

Stay away from the 763 rear springs unless you plan on always carrying a lot of rear weight.

Just to give a different opinion, I have the EHD (as you call 'em) and even without the bumpers, etc. I am perfectly happy with the ride I went in thinking it was going to be terrible, and it isn't really...at least it is well within my comfort level. I liken it to a ranch truck, but I haven't lost a kidney yet. I think it is a personal thing. It will definitely ride like a truck...

In fact, I really like how it rides.

yea, I mean I can always find ways to add weight though..

But at the moment Im really liking slightly raised rovers, I just dont think a rover should be lifted much, they just don't look right, so I will decide between the 2 or 3 eventually.
