Mmm jelloooooo

Ok so today I went and wash the underside of my dicso to get a better idea of what I was dealing with before I went and dug into it lol. After washIng it and driving around most of the day I go the creeper out and went to looking, well after about an hour of looking it dosent seem to be leaking much at all as it has not made it's way back down to the oil pan? So think I can cross the head gasket off the list of expensive parts lol; but however the leak seems to be comming from behind the power steering pump bracket? After taking off the MAF and piping off I can see the valve
covers leaking slightly but no orange coolent? |
I'd bet it's your throttle body heater plate. It can run most anywhere but you'll usually see a drip or two on the valve cover.
If not that I would suspect your head gasket since they seem to really jelly up the coolant before dropping it on the floor. You need to get underneath the engine with a bright lite and look up underneath at the heads. It can begin as a very small leak but you will also see gooey orange accumulation around the leak. Good luck |

Nice, so your going to bring up a 5 year old thread just to call someone an Ahole....
Could be an honest mistake, didn't check the date. I experienced something similar earlier this month, the site was messing up and I replied to one that was old also that told me it was new, with the bold thread titles up top. |
