P0130 & P0150 - O2 Sensor replacement Walker Vs Bosch
I wanted to share a bit of recent discoveries regarding the P0130 and P0150. I went around in circles trying to resolve these codes. I bought 2 brand new Bosch sensors off of Amazon. Installed and after about 10 mins of driving the same codes came back again. Skeptical that I could get two bad ones I started to chase vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks, intake cleaning, etc. I ended up reading about the Walker O2’s and how many people have had better luck with those. Found them on RockAuto (close-out pricing) so I figured why not? Installed them and haven’t had an issue since. The Rover is running great and zero codes after a good amount of miles and time. I’ve attached a photo of the close-out O2’s below. Hopefully you guys can pick up a couple. On another note the pigtails are much longer on the Walker O2’s allowing you to reroute them a bit to help with oil soaking the connectors. I used a couple mounting zip ties with the added hook to secure the wires and connectors away from any oil seepage and heat. Hope this helps someone out and also saves you a buck or two.
Good to hear you got your Disco back on the road. I’ve always read the best O2 sensors for a V8 Disco 2 are NTK #25623 UP & #25624 DOWN or Walker #350-34462 UP & #350-34188 DOWN.

Thanks! I guess I just assumed Bosch would be the best. Live and learn...

Thanks! I was just on the rock auto site looking at 25024496. Good to know they work.
I assume you put these on the upstream, pre-cat locations, right? That's where my codes are.
Also, hello from Indian Hills, CO!

Howdy! Yes, I installed them in the upstream pre-cat location. The extra long pigtail on them really helps with routing the cable and connector out of the heat/oil. Glad the post helped you!
