Default p0340 - camshaft sensor replacement, whats involved

00 Disco 140K
Just picked it up, It has a p0340 code - I changed the crankshaft sensor just to make sure but it didnt help. What is involved in replacing the camshaft sensor ?

WHAT?

All you have to do is pull the belly pan and the oil filter. It's right there.

I'd try cleaning and reseating the connector before replacing it - they are in a pretty oily place.

What exactly is your truck doing wrong and why would you replace a crank sensor for a cam sensor fault?
Read the Rave, it is an easy replacement.

Issues are rough idel and I got the CEL on. I changed the crank sensor because a lot of people said thats is usually the issue causing a p0340 and because it was a cheaper sensor - $60

I checked rave - unless I am missing something it doesnt really give you much details on the removal, it shows you where it is located but not how to access it or what to remove. Discomike where in the rave might you be referring too ?
