Default p154 and P134 codes show up in a few days?

So the build of my (new to me) 99 DII with 150k miles on it was going ok, or so i though.
I had the Amigos and was showing a 1590 code on my ODBII scanner, which was stopping it passing emissions (apparently any ODBII code will do that in Vegas) I replaces the shuttle valve as one of the switches was bad and i should have my right front sensor here this week (that shows open circuit) so though i was in good shape...

So i was thinking I'll finally be able to pass emissions and drive my lovely disco this week and low and behold when i put the code scanner on i now get p154 and p134. Is this more likely to be an electrical problem or have both the sensors failed at the same time (think the code means Front RH and LH sensors open circuit looking at the RAVE)

Is there a way to test the sensors with a mulit meter or something before i just blindly buy some or could it be a fuse or bad link somewhere?

Lastly i keep seeing i should replace sensors in pairs, does that mean both the up stream together or do they mean both the LH pair or the RH Pair. What im really asking is if its sensors, do i need to buy all 4 as my fronts may be toast.

If it helps any i drove home 200 miles with the car and all i had when i got home was the 1590 code. I have only done about 40 miles in getting parts and stuff and now i have the 134,154, that just seemed odd to me.

Thanks as always in advance for the help guys!
Dave

Both of your front 02's are shot, by your mileage better plan on replacing all 4.

Go to Atlantic British or British Parts of Utah for priced around $60 a piece.
