Talking P1590 OBD2 code on a 2003

Hi there guy's!! I just got this code pull and said P1590 ABS roug road signal malfunction. Hardware is ok, but "slab ecu" is sending an error signal..... Cut it be bcz the brake pad's are almost gone? or maybe the ECU is just bad? HELP GUY"S Thanxs!!!!!

you have the 3 amigos blinking yet? yes fix your brakes they are most likely the problem. your ECU is fine.

Hey Thaxs for the answer!! I did my breakes yesterday, front and rear and find out one front caliper was really bad, one of the pin's was stuck, but I got it fix already..... But those light still on, just like before. Do you think is time for a new E.C.U ?

Yeah buy a new ECU.... And then have to fix the actual ABS problem.

Or maybe search for "3 amigos" or even P1590 and you will find a plethora of information including a fix for any ABS issue there is. Step 1 though is to get your ABS codes read. Google abs amigo.

If you are lucky and your new brakes are not squeaking then you can go by a shop that will charge you big bucks to now read and clear the old codes.

Hi Disco mike!! But the OBD2 scaner don't remove those codes? or what about Disconnecting the battery?

u need an ABS specific scanner. like the ABS amigo. and OBD2 will not read ABS codes. and no disconnecting the battery does nothing.

I got an ABS scanner for the DII for here.

Don't know how i could have sorted my issues out without it. Its very simple to use and seems to work like a champ so worth the $200 bucks if you ask me. but remember all it does it ABS scans on the DII so its a very specialized tool

Woow, I just spend $250 on a OBD2 scaner, and if I get this one my wife will trowme out of the house HAhahahahahaha, But I'm getting this one for sure so I can fix's this problem. Thank's for the advice!!!!!
