Came here to suggest Jag engined L322 as well. SC or NA.
Their handsome, reliable, capable, comfortable, and cheap to buy.
I daily an 08 L322, 4.4 NA. Awesome car. I spent a bunch on maintenance up front and it’s been a dream.
4.2 SC is probably a little more enjoyable to drive. Everything I’ve heard is that both power plants are very reliable. Mine certainly has been.

Heck yeah! It's so funny, coming from the Disco, I feel like the 4.4 NA is SO fast haha. I don't think I'd want anything faster. Also just so nice having a massive engine bay to work in that's built for a 5.0 SC V8 but without all the SC hardware.Originally Posted by arains44
