Those looks great. Did you sand the fenders before painting?

it looks very nice how about doing the lower rocker molding so they all match?
the flairs looks so nice that the rocker molding takes away from them.

Instead of using plastic sheet I heard a the Corvette plant they use plastic wrap like Handy wrap kitchen stuff. "Edit" (no need for tape) I'm going to do mine soon so I will post about it

I'm looking to paint my flares soon and just weighing between a normal type of paint like this or to go with something textured..

Oh, decisions, decisions..

Hey, new to the forum! Thought I would put in my two cents.
The previous owner of my '02 Disco attempted a flare paint job and needless to say he went a little overboard with the paint.(Runs everywhere..) I sanded them down and used 3 cans of Rustoleum LeakSeal, its made for patching gutters and such but I put it to use on my flares and with pretty good results. It's similar to the stuff on the informercials where they guy puts it on a screen door attached to a boat. It gives a nice textured look kind of like underliner but a lot more durable...with time it fades but a quick touch up of Eagle One Gel it will stay dark and rich for about two months. Can put pictures if requested!
