As far as I know the newer part number is just the updated old one so you should be good.
DiscoMike will beable to conferm or deny this.

I know Rover made a big change with the ABS in 03, not sure if it is at the beginning on the year or mid year. I may be wrong on this one, but I don't think they will interchange.
Let us know what you find out.

Mike,
If I where to go to the dealer to buy the pump to fit my truck it would be the SRB 101203 06 pump (the new one). I asked about the one I have in there and they seemed lost could not find the number anywhere... I am not getting that warm cozy feeling I'd really like to have before I start this project .. I have enclosed a picture of the top of both units the "new" one has some vent like holes?

Are you sure it has failed, based on what?
You can always call landroverparts.com, they probably have both unite.

Going to get scanned tomorrow to be sure thats what it is... Tried the panic stop with lights on no ABS action. Had scanned before and cleared, shuttle valve and wheel sensor....making sure not wheel sensor.

Doug

Mike did you see the pictures and notice the difference?

From what I've read in the manuals (and tried) - to do the panic stop, check, it should be done on a slippery surface (at least for my 04) the manuals says if there is enough friction between the tires and the road surface the ABS will not engage (no pumpy pumpy of the brake pedal) and the vehicle will just slow down (or stop depending on your foot) however, when there is not enough friction to properly slow the vehicle down the ABS will engage (pedal go pumpy pumpy). I tried this with my vehicle and it works, dry road = rapid stop, no pedal action, wet road = stopping (slip-stopping) with pedal action. just like the book says

I had them (local non-stealership) scan Disco when I got there, showed a shuttle valve code no wheel sensor codes. Then I showed them the other part had them do the swap and bleed (they had to use the tech tool to bleed the module). So far no Amigios ....
