there are others on here with the same problem... I don't remember if it has been addressed, but its worth a forum search :)

and I'm guessing you both have dual climate control?

1 compressor. I think it is in the controls, lets see if anyone else chimes in.....

It will be the control unit or a air gate that is not working properly. Have you tried the a/c self test yet to se if it is detecting anything? I believe you shold be able to find it in your owners manual.

I've got the same problem with my 96 SE7: driver's side is cold. Very cold. Passenger side is warm. Cool at best but it feels like outside air blowing in.

I've removed the knob to inspect it and determine whether it is actually being turned all the way. It is, as I discovered. So I don't know. I got no answers.

Also, I'm not sure this is normal: My A/C will, if blowing on full fan, occasionally switch off and after a few moments switch back on. Is this normal? Curious.

I have the same problem, but don't have the time or money to bring it to a dealer.
I would think a "door" is not closing properly, having a diagram which route the A/C would be helpfull [&:]

This isa low Freon symptom , You all have cars with systems that are low on freon, have the systems recharged and add dye if the leaks cant be located with a leak dector, slow leaks are difficult to locate , the dye leaves a tracer dye that can be found with a black light type of lamp, usually O-Rings at the condenser or expansion valve at the fire wall.

I still didn't take the time to look at it..... but I beleive it's a trap / door that is not closing properly.
Even on "heat" there is a temp difference between the passenger and driver.

I'm having so many electrical prob with this truck.....
