jupiter, that is a really nice looking rover. I'm guessing those pics were taken in Florida since it looks like Florida swamp land and your screen name is jupiter rover. Those MTR pattern tires are great for on highway use and rock, but if you do a lot of muddy/swamp off-roading you can't beat super swamper. TSLs are great and boggers are even better.

My firestone destination m/ts are not a MTR (assuming you meant the Goodyear mtr) pattern whatsoever they are completely unique.
The tires I run are new to everyone down south, as in barely anyone runs them. So far I have been able to go everywhere my friends with boggers/tsl's have been able to go. Next weekend we are going to an area that is an open field that is only mud. So we'll see how my tires hold up in the goo compared to the swampers.

jupiter, sorry for the confusion..around here we refer to any tire with that pattern as MTR pattern. My personal experience has been that they easily get packed with mud because of the narrow distance between lugs. However, here in north Georgia we have a clay soil they may do much better in sandy soil. keep the pics coming!

Yeah I know exactly what you mean with the lugs being packed with mud. But that is why I chose these tires. They are different and after I get in the mud I check to see if they clog and they haven't yet. I'll find more goopy mud to see. My 285s are the biggest size you can get (not widest) and the tread has some big voids. Like I said, I haven't had a problem keeping up with my friend's jeeps on boggers/TSL.

Next weekend we are going to this place which is Strictly mud. The sloppiest stuff in the area. I'll take a lot of pics and vids and see how my tires compare. I don't think TSLs have anything on my tires in the mud. The boggers win hands down, If you have the HP to clear them
