Default A Pillar Install

So I just purchased a set of replacement A pillars. There was a thread a couple years ago where a guy did the install using screws that attached to the clips. Plastic caps looked they covered the screws.Think there was a falling out and the post/pics were removed. Anyone have a lead on how to do this?

I borrowed a couple of his pics before he took his ball and went home with it.
I’ll have to find them and post them up again.

I still want to do the screw mod on my new A-pillars but I’m working on other things to do on Myrtle.

I couldn’t find the a-pillar mod pics but here they are from a consolidated post... https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-effort-92607/

No problem mate!
If you do this mod, please take some pics and post them on the consolidated post to share your experience with other forum members. Cheers!

I had both of mine randomly fall off a while back.
I just carefully drilled out a hole and the used a random screw to reattach them to the original clips.
Not fancy, but they’ve held now for a good while.
And some standard scrivets on top to hide my sins.
I think if I had it to do again I’d fill the clips with caulk (or hot glue if you’re impatient) before I tried to jam the screws in.

edit: mine were the interior ones. You might mean the exterior.
