Default Plastidip or not...

I saw a white range rover (might have been a 98 or so) in the same shade of white but the ownder had painted the stock 18's black.. I like the look but I just want others opinions on white on black rims.

MY disco would look great with black rims.. especially since my left front rim has some chipping (I think the cheap a** brake pads from my dealer dusted too much and ate at the rim coating)

I'd just powder coat them. A guy I know will blast them, prep them and powdercoat a set of 4 wheels any color you want (2 stage) for $250. They'll hold up alot longer.

The in-house tech here has a white RRC with black wheels, he is also building a 95 classic with black wheels. It looks great(my S60R is plastidipped white with black wheels) in person, but the black wheels get lost in photos.

I've been thinking of going with a gun metal or anthracite color on my black Disco. I like the black rim look too, but I don't want to overdo it with a black paint job.

come on someone do it, so I can see if I can top coat it with body paint for that monochromatic look.
