Default Please help ASAP.. how to remove automatic shift ****

Also if you know how the center console assembly gets removed that would help. I do have RAVE, but I am not seeing how the **** removes, so assume it is not detailed in the rest of dissembly of center console.

There's no screw holding it in place, so pull straight up. Might require some tugging.

Just make sure you don't twist it, or it may break (ask how I know that, LOL). You need to put it in "D", then pull as hard as you can til it pops off -- At least that's how it is on my 99 D2.

Yep just pull like you never have pulled before and do watch your head and knuckles it will pop off hard. I just haven't figured out how to stop it from rotating around after it is removed?? any ideas?
