Default Poor idea for door seal placement on my Disco

Yes, I know we can complain about many funny design things on our Discos but... I don't know if it's just me but my rubber door seals are tending to tear at the door threshold from getting in and out of the car. Most cars have the seals mounted on the door and not the door frame but LR does it their way. I've re-glued them with black RTV cement and positioned them with painters masking tape until they dry but this only seems to last a month or 2. I've considered replacing them but I imagine that JC Whitney doesn't stock them and getting them from a dealer would require me to apply for a bailout from Congress.

LOL - with as much crap as goes wrong with these dang trucks, you have time to whine about the door seals???? Your truck must be in much better shape than mine!
