Power steering low or high pressure?
Hi All,
Ive had a power steering leak for some time now and I finally have some time to dive into the issue. I have attached two photos taken from underneath the truck. The leak seems to be coming from the low pressure hose at the clamp behind a pulley. As I went to puchase it from Atlantic british the low pressure hose description didnt match my hose. However, the low pressure power steering hose from the series 1 seems to match up. Oh, I have 03 disco by the way.
My hose that is leaking is fat all the way through, but in the item description it is very thin halfway through. Is this the High pressure hose that is leaking?
The first two pics are from underneath the truck where I believe the leak is coming from. and The third one is the low pressure hose for a series 1 and the last picture is the low pressure hose to a series 2.
What do yall think?

Do yourself a favor and clean up that dirty engine so you can see what is leaking.
A couple cans of degreaser used from both the top and bottom and a good power scrubbing at your local do-it-yourself car was will reveal a clean engine and any leaks.
Make sure to flush out your p/s with 4 quarts of new P/S fluid.

Yeah the ps fluid is everywhere. I took all the bolts off from the pas pump but was curious as to how yall got the top middle bolt off that is backwards. I already took the nut off so its just that one backwards bolt thats still in there. I was just gonna lube it and hammer it out but it doesnt seem like there is space for it to come out the back.
Any thoughts?
The rave manual is a lifesaver!
