Default push Rods Too long

Heads and block have both been milled more than once. Now the push rods are too long (and the compression must be very high). In the collective wisdom of this august forum, what would be the preferred solution?

New Heads and Block....otherwise Cometic metal gaskets that can make up the difference, but LR got away with the metal gaskets for a reason.

Or just shim the rocker shaft mounts.

This is why I don't get anything milled.

The lifters may compensate for a little bit of excess length.

You had better not be putting regular gas or midgrade into it.

are you sure your'e push rods are too long, you do have hydraulic liters not solids which will adjust for anything but except for an extreme discrepancy. Are you adjust them with the lifters pumped up?
does your lower intake manifold fit? it it fits there wasn't too much taken off, it it doesn't fit them maybe yes.
If you can correct the problem if that is it Cometic gaskets as mentioned.
you probably want to contact your machine shop and find out how much the milled off the block and heads.
