Also, since the front shaft is different on a 4.6 and a 4.0, how does it perfectly fit 99-04?

if you want a long shaft because of a lift order an 03-04 shaft

I was finally able to crawl under the vehicle to check if the up-grade was done. It does have Zerk's on the u-joints which is good. I will hit them with a grease gun later today. Thanks again for all the help.

If you're not going to rebuild it as recommended, then be sure you grease them as described in the propshaft rebuild post.

well we just finished getting the propshaft out...rebuild for tomorrow
no gease fittings but everything was still real tight, maybe i'll just put it back...........kidding

That is not a fun rebuild be very careful not to pry very hard on it, chances are you will break something if you do. Good luck with your rebuild!
