Thanks for the quick replies. I've got to say the $126 radiator sounds too good to be true. Have you ever bought from there 909wheeler? I never thought to check stylintrucks for rover parts. After looking at AB they show there being a radiator for SAI and one without SAI, is there really a difference I haven't seen that anywhere else?

I just bought a Nissens from Lucky8. Justin gave me a great deal. Nissens has an excellent reputation so it was worth the little extra for me over the Chinese bargain brands. And yes, it included the SAI temp port which comes with a threaded plug installed for non-SAI applications.
I can say that it happens more with low volume part numbers, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's the case with LR radiators, too.

You have to remember, the economey sucks and for people to come out with really cheap radiators, they have to cut corners, lessor quality material and Made in China.
If you want a good radiator, one that is original then go to British Parts of Utah where you can buy one made in Scotland and I believe one of the original suppliers for Rover.
I bought one from BPoU for $280, still way under Rovers price, and won't have to worry about it for another 100,000 mils plus.
Don't for get to switch tp Peak or one of the other coolants and stay away from Dexcool, also buy a new 180 soft spring t/stat for even better performance.

Well it certainly came in a very nice box. They included the hardware, including stainless steel nuts, which seemed like a nice touch. The last bargain radiator I bought was for a 1988 Toyota 4Runner and it used a larger radiator cap instead of the OEM one (which was problem until I figured out that there are only 3 radiator cap sizes), required modifications to make the shroud fit, and required a little "re-contouring" of the underside hood bracing before it would close. The quality of the Nissens one was far superior, so if it is from China they found a good factory.
