Where is the radio antenna on a 2000 Discovery II?

In the rear side window(s). Look for the thin wires embedded in the glass.

This information can also easily be found in the RAVE, along with details on which audio systems have aerials in both windows vs. which only have an aerial in one.

RAVE is the Land Rover service manual. I don’t remember what it stands for.

Rover Automated Viewing Environment

It's available as a free PDF download from the link in my signature, which you can see if you access this forum from a computer, not a mobile device.

It is the most important tool you can own for your Rover -- the service manual. There are links to it and mentions of it all over this forum.

I have the Discovery II service manual. It is about 1½ inches thick. But it is very hard to use and when they shrunk all the pages in half and put them side ways in the book. Just hard to find anything. It sounds to me like you are upset with me I am sorry. Maybe we can get together some time and I will buy you a beer.

The digital version is pretty straight forward to use. Yes some animosity comes in answering the same basic questions a million times over. At least you're getting answers to your questions. I've apparently asked questions on the forum that no one can help answer, so I keep beating my head on the table trying to find a solution.

Agreed, the digital version is easy to use -- especially since you can search it and the chapters and sub-sections are all indexed. Read up ahead of time on whatever issue you're working on, and then just print the pages you need for reference when you have to actually go out to the truck.
If you're used to paper manuals, it might be a bit of a transition, but once you've used it a few times its value becomes evident.
