rapid left turn signal?
My left blinker is 2-3x faster than the right. I know this to be indicative of having a light out. All three turn signal lights work on both sides of the vehicle. The headlight blinker assembly looks mint. The tail light assembly had water in it. I cleaned and dried it out and cleaned up the terminals on the bulb (which weren't necessarily bad to begin with). How can I troubleshoot the problem from here? thanks!

did someone sneak an LED in there?

No LED, unless under the side marker turn signal. Thanks for the info on the relay I’ll check that asap

Knowing that the RH side indicators are working you can also try switching the R2 relay with the R1.

If I unplug the entire light assemblies (headlight, then Side marker, then tail light) will the problem correct itself once I unplug the problematic unit? Or will unplugging a working unit cause the light to speed up. just trying to think of a diagnostic method. |
I was playing with the passenger side signals (they work fine) and if you unplug any of the signals, that entire circuit blinks rapidly.
Im thinking ill have to replace every bulb on the left side of the vehicle in order to rule out the bulbs. |
where can I find the grounds for the turn signals?
|
I replaced each bulb from front to back. One by one I check the turn signal function. The rear signal on the drivers side had, what I believe to be, the incorrect bulb in it. Check the photo. New light has one terminal Turn signals are functioning correctly. For now.. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...ed6f477a5.jpeg
