i just finished mine tonight, it looks great, only 28 bucks in it.
1 quart satin paint $12
scotch brite $2
1 quart kilz primer $8
1 wiz roller $4
throw away paint tray $2

I'll post some pics tomorrow. Its washable and will never sag again.
oh yea use the kilz stain blocking primer or the left over glue reside will bleed through, trust me I made that mistake for you.

tweak that came out looking good... i think i am gonna paint mine, it seems a lot easier than recovering...

 

looks real good....I've been putting off that job for a year now and driving around with never puting the passenger windows down at road speed to keep it from peeling further.....but you have inspired me to get at it !!

 

sound dedening is not an issue, you can't tell any difference.

 

Not hearing the passengers ask about my saggy linner would be all the sound deadening that I would need. I'm Sold

tweak did you just use painter's tape on the trim and a small brush to get to the area's you couldn't reach with a roller? Didn't see that addressed so if it was my appologies.
