Rear Bumper replacement question...
I put the sensors in a stock plastic replacement bumper when I broke mine a long time ago. (non 03/04 bumper, so no sensor holes...and plastic not metal, but shouldn’t be much different should it?)
It was as simple as drilling the right sized hole in the right spot. Then whatever doo-hickey mounted behind it, I put back there, stuck it on, snapped it in.
With the metal, drilling, you’ll have to corrosion protect /prime / paint the hole you drill and make sure not to “walk” the drill around to ruin the finish of your nice new bumper. But it should be possible. I remember having to use sikaflex or something to stick on the bracket that was on the interior of the bumper.
