Default rear jump seat function help!!

STUPID STUPID STUPID question I know, so no need to trash me haha. I just bought the 2003 disco 2, and my jumpseats were down and ready to be sat in when i bought it, i dont want to break them trying to put them in the away position and have to fork over a few hundred for a stupid reason........could someone please explain how i lift these and put them away the proper way???

also, is a small oil leak really a big problem, land rover told me that 98 percent of rovers have this problem, and it is normal just keep an eye on the oil.....or if i want to fix the problem id have to pay a grand, but its not worth it they say.......any opinions on this would help.......same deal with a radiator if it has a small dropping leak nothing bad at all, they say just keep a check up on the fluid and a regular oil change that its a common rover thing, should i be scared and sell it? or should i just not worry much about it?????
\

thanks for all the help, very helpful members

You may have already figured this out by now, but here's the deal: There's a little band of material that runs vertically behind the seat just over the floor latch. Pull back on it and that releases the seat from the floor. Careful when lifting... The seat stows with its bottom toward the side of vehicle. I bought mine a few weeks ago and it took me a while to figure that one out, too.

That's the other thing it took me a while to figure out. It's the cruise control on/off switch. These things are unique in a cool way, wouldn't you say?
