Default Rear Window Regulator

Got a burnt out motor for a rear window. I have a spare regulator/motor assy. Would it be quicker and/or easier to replace the whole thing , or seperate the motor from the regulator and replace just that? Thanks in advance

Well, I did just the motor. After getting the door panel off, it seemed much easier to go this route. 4 bolts off the motor/regulator assy, then 3 torx for mounting the motor to the regulator. After doin it once, could prob do it in 15min.
