Rear wiper won't shut off

As the title says, my rear wiper won't shut off. It is stuck on slow delay. I can turn it up all the way and back down, but not off. I've fiddled with the switch, turned the truck on and off and pounded my head off the steering wheel, but shockingly enough none of that has worked.
For now the fuse is pulled, but I can still hear the relay clicking every 20 seconds or so. It's beginning to drive me mad like something out of an Edgar Allen Poe story

Does it run when the ignition is off?

I had a problem where the rear wiper would go on when I hit the brakes while my front wipers were on. Turned out to be rear bulb that was out along with some corrosion in the socket that turned the reverse light on when I hit the brake which in turn made my rear wiper wipe because the BCU though I was backing up while my front wipers were on.

That was a head scratcher until I checked the lights.

Connector C079 is the back of the switch, just 2 wires, it switches that point to frame ground and tells the BCU you want the wiper on, the BCU handles everything else. If you unplug the switch and it stops, bad switch. Or could be ground on the orange/black wire which goes back to ECU.

Thanks for the replies. As soon as it stops snowing  I'll check it out!

If you fear it is causing a problem wiping when dry, remove fuse F15 in the under dash fusebox.

Push the “stalk” forward to turn off.
