Default Rebuilt Salvage Title

I just fully rebuilt my 2002 Disco 2 with a 4.6 2003 block. New everything with the engine rebuild, clean interior, just redid the headliner, new power steering pump and all. I am debating selling it since it was needed for a job I no longer have...lots of schlepping involved in my old occupation.

The title is a salvage title, bought it from a tow lot. How much does the salvage title matter at this point for resale listing price?

depends on the state. Some states have PITA issues with salvage titles, especially out of state salvage titles. Your best bet is to get a full title first, then ask the premium price your disco warrants. It will be worth the hassle if you want top dollar.... but if your disco is a POS with a rebuilt engine...then maybe not worth it....

posting pics would help......

I’ve had both awful experience and excellent experience with salvage titled vehicles purchase.

I would have to say so long you are completely honest and transparent; seeking what you think is fair market value is no problem. The buyer can do diligence & make a sound decision.

Agreed, at the age of these vehicles I don't see it being an issue. A lot of these went to salvage lots due to blown engines, blown hg, or mine accidents. This is a true body on frame truck and you rarely see an accident where there is significant structural damage.
