Replacement Windshield
Alright, my windshield cracked this winter (about a month after I bought the vehicle), and my deductible is way to high to cover it.
I've got a heated windshield right now, but considering that that will cost me $1k+ to replace, I'm looking at the standard variety.
Are there any problems with putting a regular windshield in, apart from the fact the it won't be heated?

i don't belive so, how much is your dedt? You could lower your dedt. and wait a couple of months, get new windshield and then raise your dedt. (that might be fraud but everyones doing it these days, LOL.) anywayA non heated windshield should go right in, check with LR or glass shop. Oh yea if you pay cash it will be a lot cheaper.
I currently have a $1k deductible, which was the only way I could afford the stupid premiums. Glass becomes a non-option at that point (although if I did the heated windshield, they'd chip in for about a $100 bucks . . .)
