I dont lug around CD's, I make mixed CD's, hard rock mix, classical mix, driving mix, various, etc. Then I put them in a small CD case that sits on the passenger seat. The sunvisors in a Disco are to big for a CD sleeve to fit on them.
I get tired of a disc, I swap it out with one from home.

I did not know about allthe different bit rates and other stuff that I know nothing about, I just want good sounding music.
And I do have a pair of studio headphones, I used to be a audiophile but because of Megans law...sorry, poor attempt at a really bad joke.
I was a huge audiophile, but not any more. I still like the sound of good music though.

A good 90% of the mp3's I listen to on a regular basis have been ripped from cd by me at 192 KBs, or a little over 1MB/minute of audio. After chopping the resonator and getting the SD rack this weekend my ambient driving noise has increased a bit. Really what I don't like the most about the LR audio is the speaker in the door. My foot sits right there and blocks most of the sound coming from it.
