Reputable Shop/Mechanic in Austin, TX?
Hello all --
Looking for recommendations/suggestions for a reputable shop or mechanic in the Austin, TX area. We've tried a couple places other than the local LR dealer and have had mixed results. I can do some basic wrenching, but don't have the skill/time/tools for more advanced problems (head gasket, tranmission, 3 amigos, that type of stuff). Does anyone have suggestions for a honest, reliable place to go where I don't have to second-guess everything they're doing (and wonder how much I'm getting ripped off?) We've looked several times into trading-in our beloved '03 Discovery on something new, but just can't find anything out there that we like better! Thanks! RedAustinIX |

Might want to ask around the Austin Forum below....they are probably more knowledgeable than some Spike dude in Michigan..:D

I have a Disco I and a Bmw 525. Terry Sayther Automotive
(512)442.1361 has one of the best reputations for BMW repairs in Austin. I would call him and ask him for a referal for a Rover shop. |
Thanks guys, I'll look into these ideas.
