95 disco, have disconnected battery,if i have the 4 digit code just enter in on the radio and that's it? is it that simple? thanks, Bill

You'd think it would. But I still have no radio cause the code they gave me isn't working. I'd hate to rip the dash open to see if theres a different radio in there then original. The whole code thing is stupid. What's the point of it?

Thankfully my code was writtenin the owners manual that came with the truck. (On an unidentified scrap of paper, I justguessed it was the code)It should be a 5 digit code, not 4 digit. Before I disconected my battery though I confirmed it with my local LRdealer, they gave it to me over the phone based off my VIN, no charge. (95 disco)
