Just under $1900.00 Dropped off clean block and pick up. Picking it up tomorrow.

You can get them at almost any speed shop. I'll dig up the part # for ARP and post it up in the next couple of days. I should be picking up my resleeved block next week also, I can't wait to get my truck back on the road.

Default Resleeve block is back!

Picked up my Block from LA Slevve last week and have started to put her back together.
Went with the ARP head studs.
I'm in $$$
1900.00 resleeve (LA sleeve)
470.00 rocker shaft, rocker arms, gaskets (AB)
480.00 Kent Cam, bearings, cam, rod, main. (Turner)
155.00 stud bolts (ARP)
195.00 Grant Piston rings. (Grant)

previous tear down replaced front cover $500.00, gaskets $200.00 Lifters $125.00 (AB, Ebay)

Got her back on the road. Engine runs well no more knocking!
Fighting P-0441 code( SES), will not pass smog, working through it. hopefully find the fix.

Good stuff,

I had the same effect (knocking engine turned into a quiet engine) when I replaced my '03 block with one fitted with TH liners....

TH is the way to go. Looking into it myself for awhile back (turner eng.) Just starting to
see posts. It's a love affair. What can I say.
