Rocker Arm Bolts: Install dry or lubed?

Quick question to which I can't find the answer to: When installing the rocker arm bolts into the head are they installed and torqued dry or should they be lightly coated with engine oil? I have noticed there have been folks who have had them snap and I wonder if they were getting over torqued because they were lubed with oil?

Those aren't tightened that much. 30-40lbs if I remember right. Or snug. I really don't even use a torque wrench for those anymore. I normally just send them in with whatever oil they came out with. Just don't hydraulic them.

I like to lubricate them.

I have ran a tap down them in the past than a quick blow out with compressed air. Bolts went in dry. This is not by any stretch what the manual says I’m sure

Normally, lightly lubed or sprayed with your choice of lubricant.

Brian.
