Default Roof Racks

What is the difference between the D1 and the D2 factory roof rack?

Can you put a D1 rack on a D2 roof?

If you are looking for a good used one, contact Paul Grant, his number is in my signature section, I believe he has 2 for sale.

Not the greatest angles, but below are some shots of my DI SD rack fitted on my DII.

As mentioned, and as you can kind of see, it is 6" short. It looks fine and most people won't notice. I had a little trouble getting it to fit width-wise as well, very difficult to get the brackets to fit, but with a BFH it should fit just fine. When we transferred my rack over to my buddies DI, it fit like a glove <---The rack being short like that drove me bonkers so I sold it to a friend.

yloDiscoII who owns the Blue disco behind you? Only reason I ask is because I have the same front bumper and I was wondering if you have to cut the grill to fit a winch.

It's a wheeling buddy of mine. He's got a 12K Pierce winch, so there's a good chance it is cut, because that winch is monstrous. I'll see if I can find out.

The Disco was built by Columbia Rovers a couple years ago.

There was one for sale in Seattle for $60, not sure if it's still there or not....

....this thread has officially veered off topic

As long as were off topic I'm in social looking for a winch bumper and rear bumper as well as a roof rack.
