Kind of sounds maybe you're losing a bank of cylinders or have multiple cylinders not firing due to an ignition issue? If 4 of the 8 weren't firing (one of the plugs on the end of a coil / or 1 of your 2 coils is on the way out?) -- I think that would throw a code tho, but sometimes my D2 waits awhile to throw a code....
Any other video, maybe of when you come off idle of it smoothing out?

Could I still drive it home like that? I will mention my front diff seal failed and a lot of diff oil blew back and hit the bottom passenger cat and smoked, I topped it off until I got to my hotel then dropped the diff and resealed it. Any way the oil could've affected the O2 sensor? Oil was only on the bottom part of the cat nearest the front of the car so I doubt it

I'd get a cheap spark plug tester from an auto store or harbor freight and check all 8 cylinders for spark. I once had a CPS going out that caused an awful rough idle, but it eventually set a fault code. Only other time I've had an idle like that was a messed up Bosch Purge Control Valve, and a bad coil pack.
